How to keep weld neck flange thin thickness deform during transportation

Once the clients ask for flange without serrate and bolt hole. The dimension is OK after finished. But when load on the truck it deformed for the thickness is too thin.

After discuss with the client. Final decision is to weld bars cross on the flange. When at site, after the flange welded to the equipment then remove the bar.

Thus thin flange deform during transportation easily settled.
